Accessibility

GeliQ wants everyone to be able to shop our store comfortably, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color contrast.
  • Every link, button and form field shows a visible outline when you move through the page with a keyboard.
  • Form fields have labels, and text in form fields is at least 16px so phones do not zoom in unexpectedly.
  • Product images have text descriptions.
  • Pages use a clear heading structure and a skip to content link.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations and transitions are turned off.

Known limits

Some parts of the store come from third party apps, such as the shade picker and checkout, and we do not control all of their code. We test them and ask the app makers to fix the issues we find, but some may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA yet.
